NEALS NIAT

Born in Paris of Cameroonian parents, Neals Niat is a graphic designer, illustrator and architect living in Brussels. His works explores an imagery inspired by his childhood spent between France and Cameroon, the world around him, design and architecture. His creations, identifiable by the use of black and white, aim to tell stories in a playful way through compositions that are part of an ongoing project "The story between the lines". Thus all of his work tends to form a whole that can be read as a great story. The main theme of his story telling work is expressed through a movement, a concept of representation, situated between the graphic, sensory and visual space that he calls the "Monochromatic Visual Metaphor". The idea is to give everyone a new approach to artistic representation by allowing different readings of works.
