KATHERINE MURPHY
Katherine Murphy is a Scottish working-class Independent Curator, Artist and Producer ~ Based between Glasgow and rural Highland Perthshire.
Her curatorial practice is rooted in feminist philosophy and built around meaningful, equitable collaborations. The methodology of ‘unfolding' and her manifesto supports the expansion of practices through the creation of spaces for reflection and dialogue.
Her drawings come from listening to and tracing indiscernible moments she experiences in nature and landscape, gesturing bodily encounters and embodying raw emotions. Her drawings capture a sensorial score through intuitive mark making with watery inks.
