KAJA AVBERŠEK
Kaja Avberšek (1983) is a visual artist creating in the fields of illustration, comics, object design, theatre scenography and text writing on the international level (Ljubljana, Lisbon, Berlin, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). The fil rouge of her expressive visual language is a strong message denoted by firm tenderness. Her desire is to reach the core of the meaning by twisting the perception of everyday banality. She makes use of diverse media to express herself and connects them logically. Her creations can be observed, read, touched and also eaten. The language is the element that she feels strongly intrigued by. Her literary-expressive columns are being published regularly as well as her expert essays from the field of her creation. She regularly participates in various seminars and runs workshops.
